The Origin
Why we started NFC Cards South Africa
We’re the team behind ProfileMe South Africa’s award-winning digital business card platform.
For two years running, we’ve been voted Top Adviser Technology Platform in the LinkTank Annual Adviser Survey, beating 116 enterprise platforms. Financial advisers, sales professionals, and entrepreneurs across South Africa use ProfileMe to share their details, capture leads, and stay visible with clients.

Why we started NFC Cards South Africa
The lightbulb moment came when our founder realized she hadn’t carried a wallet in years. Her phone was always in her hand but her business card wasn’t.
So we created NFC phone tags.

The response was immediate. Sales teams ordered them in bulk. Corporate clients requested custom-branded tags for conferences. We delivered NFC tags to Absa, Old Mutual and Discovery, to name but a few, and sales teams across South Africa.
What started as a fix for ourselves became the fastest-growing part of our business.
Now we’re spinning it into a dedicated NFC hardware shop NFC Cards South Africa so every professional can access the same premium NFC cards and tags that enterprise clients use, without the bulk order minimums.
